How to Clean a Bernzomatic Pen Type Micro Torch
A Bernzomatic pen type micro torch is a small, hand-held torch. The torch is powered by butane fuel. A small torch has a small but powerful flame that allows for precision. The micro torch comes with different attachments or tips, so it can be used to solder, cut rope and shrink wrap wires. A Bernzomatic micro torch should be cleaned after each use. Allow the Bernzomatic micro torch to fully cool before attempting to clean. Once fully cool, remove the attachment or tip that was being used by unscrewing it with your fingers.

Place the mini torch in the Bernzomatic stand. This is not required, however, it will prevent fingerprints on the torch.

Fill a bowl with warm water. Dip a Bernzomatic cleaning sponge in the water.

Rub the sponge on the surface of the mini torch to fully clean. Next, use the sponge to clean the tip. Clean the inside and outside of the attachment.

Allow the parts to fully air dry before properly storing.

Bernzomatic recommends only using a Bernzomatic sponge to clean its torches. Never use chemicals or soaps for cleaning.
