How to Download a YouTube Video Onto CD

CD-Rs can store media.

YouYube videos have been created specifically for viewing on the Internet. In order to burn them to a CD, you'll need to capture them using a website that specializes in doing just that. Windows Media Player can then burn the captured video onto a blank CD-R. Any Windows computer can then take the CD and play the movie back.

Things You'll Need

• Blank CD-R
• CD Burner

Instructions

1. Navigate to ConvertFiles (see "Resources"). Click "Or Download It From," which is the second option at the top of the page and paste the address of the YouTube video into the text box.

2. Click "Convert" to begin conversion. Click the link that appears to download the video to your computer.

3. Choose the "Windows Media Player" option from the Windows "Start" menu.

4. Click the "Burn" tab and select "Data CD." Click and drag the movie you downloaded to the "Burn List" under the "Burn" tab in the program.

5. Click "Start Burn" to begin burning the video to CD.

Tips & Warnings

• Multiple videos can be burned on one CD.
