How to Dissolve Ink

How to Dissolve Ink thumbnail
Ink stains can usually be dissolved with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.

Unlike other types of stains, ink marks unfortunately cannot be removed with water and detergent--these can even cause the ink to spread. The best way to remove an ink stain is to dissolve it. Rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide can dissolve many types of inks from most surfaces including paper, fabrics, wood, carpets, tiles and counter tops. While these will successfully dissolve most of the ink, occasionally some of the stain will remain and may become permanent. Does this Spark an idea?
