How to Make Homemade Water Balloon Launchers & Water Guns
Hitting a target with a water balloon is more accurately accomplished using a homemade launcher. You will need some cardboard, a few items from a hardware store, along with a garden hose from your backyard or garage. You also will need a few tools commonly found in most households, but this task requires no special skills. Your water balloon launcher will also be able to serve as a water gun when no balloons are present.

4
Close the sides of the tube with strips of duct tape. Wrap duct tape around the PVC pipe cap to secure it inside of the end of the tube.

Hold the open end of a balloon over the end of a water spigot on the side of the house. Turn the water valve to fill the balloon with water. Turn off the water valve. Tie a knot in the end of the balloon.

7
Screw one end of a garden hose to the sprinkler gun. Screw the other end of the garden hose to the water spigot. Turn the water valve fully clockwise.

8
Hold your water balloon launcher with the open end facing up. Drop the water balloon into the open end carefully so that it slides down to the other end.
