How to Convert Xvid to DVD Torrent
To convert an Xvid to a DVD Torrent, you must create an MPEG file, then author the MPEG file. Most Xvid files will have an extension of .AVI, which most video converters can easily convert to an MPEG. Once the MPEG file is authored, you can create a torrent using your favorite torrent software. Ensure that you are the copyright owner or have permission from the copyright owner prior to distributing any video files.

Convert the Xvid file to MPEG using a video converter such as Any Video Converter or Prism Video Converter (see links in the Resource section below). Open the software and click “Add Files.” Select the desired Xvid file in the file browser and click “Open.” Set the output format to MPEG and click “Convert.”

Open the MPEG file using DVD authoring software such as WinX DVD Author or Cucusoft MPEG to DVD (see links in the Reference section below). Click “Convert,” “Author” or “Start” to begin the authoring process, which should take significantly less time to complete than the conversion from Xvid to MPEG.

Locate the two folders created by the DVD authoring software. The folders will be labeled “Video_TS” and “Audio_TS.”

Create a new compressed folder by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting “New,” followed by “Compressed Folder.” Drop the “Video_TS” and “Audio_TS” folders into the compressed folder. Rename the compressed folder to describe its contents.

Open your torrent software, such as Bittorent or uTorrent (see links in the Resource section below). Click “File” then select “Create a new torrent.” Select the compressed folder from the file window. Enter your preferred torrent tracker in the box labeled “Torrent Tracker” or enter one of the following addresses:

Ensure that no check is placed beside the option to make the torrent private, then save the torrent. The torrent can now be sent to friends to be downloaded.

Alternatively, burn a DVD by dragging the "Video_TS" and "Audio_TS" folders into virtually any DVD burning rom.
