How to Drain Power Steering Fluid From a 2001 Dodge 3500

The 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 has four rear wheels and two front wheels, and features a large, high output diesel engine. The power steering pump in 3500 is located on the upper front driver side of the engine. On the bottom of the pump is a drain screw that you will need to remove in order to drain the fluid from the reservoir and the pump. The truck's engine is large enough that you will not need to remove any components from around the pump, and the job does not require any special tools.
