How to Wash a NuBra

Clean water is needed to wash the NuBra.

The NuBra is comprised of two cups made of silicone gel that use an adhesive backing to attach to the skin. The manufacturer recommends washing the NuBra after it is worn each time to remove any residues or bodily oils that could affect the adhesive properties of the backing material. It cannot be machine washed or machine dried, but washing and drying the NuBra is a process that can be done quickly.

Things You'll Need

• Mild soap NuBra tray

Instructions

1. Hold one bra cup with the adhesive side facing up.

2. Apply warm water to the adhesive backing. Add mild soap to the adhesive backing of the bra cup.

3. Gently scrub the NuBra cup using a circular motion with the other hand.

4. Run the bra cup under warm water until all soap and residue has been washed away. Shake the NuBra to remove excess water.

5. Place the NuBra cup in its tray and allow it to air dry. Repeat the process with the other bra cup.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not use hard objects such as fingernails or brushes when cleaning as this could cause damage to the adhesive.
