How to Clean an HP7200 Officejet

How to Clean an HP7200 Officejet thumbnail
The HP 7200 will clean its own ink nozzles.

With use, the HP 7200 OfficeJet's ink cartridges can become dirty, which affects the print quality. If you notice streaky or splotchy prints coming from the machine, clean both the ink cartridges' nozzles and copper contacts. HP outfitted the 7200 OfficeJet with a self-cleaning feature to remove dry ink buildup in the ink cartridges' nozzles, but you will need to manually clean the contact points. It is important that you clean only the contact points on the backside of the cartridges and not touch the bottom where the ink nozzles are located.
