Start an affiliate website.

Many businesses offer affiliate programs through their own websites. Having affiliates selling a company's products for them is beneficial for the company, but is also beneficial for the affiliates. Affiliates receive a certain percentage of the amount of sales they generate.

Instructions

    • 1

Register with an online affiliate marketplace. There are many places online that exist to connect product vendors with affiliates. Clickbank and PayDotCom are two of the most popular online affiliate marketplaces. These are great places to browse through thousands of various digital products that offer affiliate programs.

    • 2

Register with an online affiliate program directly. Visit a company's or product's official website and look at the bottom for a link that says something like "Affiliate Program" or "Partners." Follow the instructions to sign up directly for that company's or product's affiliate program exclusively.

    • 3

Obtain the unique affiliate code from the affiliate program owner. This is how the affiliate program owner credits sales to the affiliates. Clickbank refers to this as a hoplink.

    • 4

Create a website or start a blog and fill it up with content and information that relates to the product being sold through the affiliate program.

    • 5

Place the unique affiliate code as a link into the website or blog. Don't overdo the praise of the product, or the search engines will classify the whole site as low quality. Low-quality websites are placed at the back of the line in search results.
