How to Save Only Specific Parts of a Web Page
When you go to a website, you can save the entire page or only specific parts of it to your computer. Depending on your browser, you can save the text files, XHTML, a single page or all files. If you choose to save the complete page, the images used to create the page will be saved as well.

Open the web page you want to save in Internet Explorer. Select "File" and "Save As" from the toolbar. Then go to the "Save as type" drop-down and choose "Webpage, complete," "Web Archive, single file," "Webpage, HTML only" or "Text File." Name the file and click on "Save."

Open the web page you want to save in Firefox. Click on "File" and "Save Page As" in the toolbar. Then click on the "Save as type" drop-down list in the "Save As" dialog box. Choose to save "Web Page, complete," "Web Page, HTML only," "Text Files" or "All Files." Then enter a file name and click on "Save."

Open the web page you want to save in Opera. Click on the "Save" button. Then choose "HTML file," "HTML file with images," "Web archive (single file), or "Text file" from the "Save as type" drop-down list. Name your file and click on "Save."
Saving Images, Backgrounds or Selection

Right-click on an image you want to save in a web page. A pop-up box will open. Select "Save Picture As" (in Internet Explorer), "Save Image As" (in Firefox), or "Save Image" (in Opera). Then name the image and click on "Save."

Right-click on a background you want to save in Internet Explorer. Select "Save Background As" from the pop-up. Then name the background image and click on "Save."

Download the Firefox "Screengrab" add-on. Open the page you want to save in Firefox. To save a specific area of your page, scroll to that area. To save a selected area, select the content you want to save. Right-click and select "Screengrab" and "Save" from the pop-up box. Choose "Complete Page/Frame," "Visible portion," "Selection" or "Window," based on your preferences. Then name and save the file.
