How to Create a Mailing List Page

Setting up a mailing list page helps you keep in contact with your family, friends, colleagues or website readers. Online mailing list providers help you set up a mailing list site. With an online mailing list site you can set up a link page so that your recipients can easily add themselves to your mailing list. Logging in to the online mailing list site allows you to send newsletters or mail to your mailing list easily.

      Go to the YourMailingListProvider (YMLP) website (see References).

      Click "Create a FREE Account" then enter your email address, the confirmation code and click "Create." Open the YMLP email in your email account and click "Click here to get started." Click "Log in" on the newly opened web page, create a new password, then click "Save." Click "Continue."

      Click "Add Forms" then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes & View Website Integration Instructions."

      Right-click the "Hosted Sign Up Form" URL and click "Copy Address" (wording varies depending on browser). Distribute this URL to your recipients so that they can easily sign up for your mailing list. This URL is the link to your mailing list page.

      Click "Send" then "Compose Newsletter" to begin writing your first newsletter. Click "Next" then type your message and subject. Click "Next" again and then "Send" to send your newsletter to your mailing list. You have now sent your first newsletter to your mailing list. The mailing list page constantly updates your mailing list database of users.

      Go to the Aardvark Mailing List website (see References).

      Click "Sign up now for your free mailing list", then "click here to register." Click "Aardvark Internet Login Account Setup." Enter your personal details, then click "Sign up." Open your email, then click the link provided to activate your account. Click "Existing users click here", enter your log in details and "Click to Login."

      Click "Click here to add a new mailing list", then enter the details for your new mailing list. Click "Save Mailing list", then "Close this Window."

      Click "Code" next to your new newsletter. Click "Direct Link", then copy the URL for your mailing list page. Distribute this URL to your recipients so that they can sign up with your mailing list page.

      Click "E-mails" to create a new email", then click "Add New E-mail." Type your email and subject up then click "Save E-Mail." Click "Click Here" next to "to send this e-mail" to distribute your newsletter to the recipients of your mailing list page.

      Go to the EZezine website (see References).

      Click "Click here to create your free account", then click "here" at the bottom of the page. Enter your personal details, then click "Preview Member info." Click "Submit Member Info", then type the confirmation code and click "Go." Open your email client and locate the EZezine email. Click the "Activation link", then log in.

      Click "Subscriber Form" beneath "Tools." Click "Preview It." You will be given a code to copy and paste. This code needs to be copied into your web page at any time; the sign-up link for your mailing list page will then be embedded.

      Click "Compose Ezine", then click "text ezine." Type your message then click "Preview It." If you want to send that email, click "Continue" then "Continue" again. You have now distributed your first newsletter to your mailing list recipients.
