Things You'll Need

  • 1 quart water
  • 1 quart corn syrup
  • Wooden spoon
  • Metal pot
  • Large spatula
  • 1 or more glass containers with lid (Mason jars preferred)

      Put your pot onto a stove burner and pour 1 quart corn syrup and 1 quart water into it, stirring with a wooden spoon for roughly three minutes.

      Set the stove burner to high heat and stir the substances with your wooden spoon until it looks something like a paste. Once it is in this form, free of any resemblance to corn syrup or water, you are finished stirring.

      Place the pot onto a cool area and let it sit still for roughly 10-15 minutes, giving the paste time to cool down and settle.

      Gather the substance with your spatula, place it in a jar and store it in a safe place.
