How to Make iTunes a Part of a Win32 Application

Win32 applications are computer programs designed to run on 32-bit editions of Windows. If you have a 64-bit edition of Windows installed and have installed iTunes at any point, the iTunes website will have automatically downloaded the 64-bit edition of that program due to the type of operating system you are running. If you want to make iTunes a part of the Win32 applications on your computer, you'll have to manually download and install the appropriate version.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open your computer's Web browser.

    • 2

Go to Apple's official site dedicated to the iTunes music software (see References). Once the site is completely loaded in your browser, click "Download iTunes."

    • 3

Check the first option under the "Download iTunes Now" section heading. Though it is not stated, this link will download the 32-bit version of iTunes to your computer. The option directly below this one specifies that it is for the 64-bit version of iTunes.
