Audio Video Interleave (AVI) files are files that contain video and audio data. AVI files may be burned to a CD using the Video Compact Disk (VCD) format, and then the resulting CD may be played in a VCD player, a pc or a home DVD player with VCD support. VCD files may be created with a CD/DVD burning utility such as Nero Burning ROM. Using Nero Burning ROM to convert an AVI to VCD is quick, easy and straightforward.
