When you first install the Adobe Photoshop application on your computer you must enter the product licensing key to show proof of purchase, or you can use the application for up to 30 days until you have to enter the licensing key. If you are using Adobe Photoshop on a computer running the Windows operating system, you can locate your license code using the Registry Editor. After you find the licensing key, you can enter it at the prompt when starting Photoshop in order to register your product.

Instructions

Click the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE” folder, and then click on the “Software” folder. Click the “Adobe” folder.

    • 4

Click the “Photoshop” folder, and then click on the “7.0” folder, or the folder for the version of Photoshop that you have. Click on the “Registration=SERIAL” option.
