How to Apply for a Computer Donation

Various charitable organizations are willing to donate computers to a worthy cause, but trying to determine who should receive the donation is not an easy job for these organizations. A procedure is normally followed to make the whole process easier and well organized. Knowing the basic guidelines on how to apply for a computer donation is necessary for the success of the task.

Instructions

1. Get a list of organizations that have computer donation programs. Browse your favorite search engine and type "apply for computer donation program" to get a listing of various organizations that offer computer donation programs.

2. Check the eligibility requirements to determine if you are qualified to join an organization's donation program. There are many organizations that offer computer donation programs and different organizations have different eligibility requirements for applying for computer donation. Read the information thoroughly and determine if you qualify to receive a donated computer before making an application.

3. List the organizations that you qualify for and find out information regarding their rules and policies on the following matters:
   A. Quantity of computers that can be requested
   B. Residency requirement for applicants

   F. Processing time of application
   G. Notification procedures

4. Send a letter of request stating your desire to be a recipient of the donation program. The following must also be indicated in your letter:
