Paper pipes are easy to make.

You can create a tobacco pipe out of several different types of household items, including paper, which is a cheap material and is easy to work with. Although creating a pipe with paper is cheap and easy, it will only last for a single use. Use a paper pipe in the same manner as you would use a traditional wooden pipe. To use, place the tobacco into the bowl and light. Inhale through the opposite end of the pipe.

Step 1

Fold the vertical edge of your paper toward the center by 1 inch. Run your finger along the fold to create a strong crease.

Step 2

Fold the same vertical edge one more time by 1 inch. Reinforce the fold by running your fingers over the crease.

Step 3

Fold the paper in half horizontally. Reinforce the crease.

Step 4

Roll the paper into a tube. You can roll it horizontally or vertically. Add tape along the middle of the tube to keep it together.

Step 5

Push the edges of one open end of the pipe inward. Just push in the rough edges. This will also help to keep the paper pipe together.

Step 6

Stick your index finger into the opposite end of the pipe. Once you reach the second knuckle, bend your finger up. This will create a bowl where you will place your tobacco. Remove your finger and pinch the corners (at the fold you created) to make the bowl more secure.
