Instructions

    • 1

Drive the rear wheels of the Z06 onto the ramps. Set the parking brake and place the wheel chocks in front of the front tires to prevent the car from rolling during the installation process.

    • 2

Roll under the rear of the Z06 on the creeper with the socket set in hand. Unbolt the exhaust bands that hold the old mufflers to the exhaust pipes.

    • 3

Pull the rubber exhaust hangers off the hanger studs on the mufflers. This will allow the old mufflers to come downward. Pull them backward toward the rear of the Corvette and off the exhaust pipes.

    • 4

Roll out with the mufflers in hand, set them aside, grab the new mufflers and then roll back under the Corvette.

    • 5

Slide the new muffler over the exhaust pipes and then slide the rubber exhaust hangers over the hanger studs on the new mufflers. Slide the exhaust band over the joint where the muffler and exhaust pipe come together. Tighten the band with the socket set.

    • 6

Roll out from under the Z06, remove the wheel chocks and drive the car off the ramps, carefully.

Tips & Warnings
