How to Draw Animals With SMS

Smilies are a thing of the past, learn how to make animals with SMS language.

At some point, for those of us who text on a regular basis, the :) (smiley) has made its way into a message. Other popular emoticons ones include ;) (wink), @>--;-- (rose), :( (sad face) and :'-( (crying). The possibilities for emoticons are only limited to the imaginations of the people that create them. The Internet is full of SMS dictionaries and SMS lingo pages that offer endless ways to connect with this ever-popular form of communication.

Instructions

1. Decide what animal you would like to send. Different animals will require different features to make them easily identifiable.

2. Experiment with your phone, or in a word processing program, until you have exactly what you want.

3. Use one of these symbols for eyes: : ; =.

4. Use one of these characters for a nose: -- ~ ^ @ *.

5. Use any of these for a mouth: ) ( P D 0 o > < [ ] { } \ /.

6. Use periods as spaces to make animals that use more than one line of text.
