How to Install a Garage Band
Apple's GarageBand software allows you to record and edit your own music using a simple mixer with tons of effects options. Installing this software, though, can prove tricky, as it does not have its own installer. GarageBand is part of Apple's iLife bundle, which also includes programs like iPhoto, iMovie and iWeb. In order to install GarageBand on its own, you will need to do a custom installation and choose GarageBand as your intended software.
