How to Make Your Own Color-coded 3-D Glasses
Color-coded 3-D glasses are a fun and interesting way to view movies, television and some comic books. Color-coded 3-D glasses have been around for a while, but producers are recently coming up with a new way that everyone can enjoy television and movies by viewing them in 3-D. Color-coded 3-D glasses can be created with just a few minutes time and a few common household items, allowing us to view television and movies in a whole new light.

1
Draw a pair of glasses on a piece of card stock. Do not worry about drawing the ear posts found on glasses, these will not be needed. Templates for glasses can be found online if you prefer not to draw your own.
-
2
Cut out the glasses and cut out the holes on each side where the lenses should be.
-
-
3
Trace circles onto the red and blue acetate slightly bigger than the eye lens holes previously cut out. Make each circle a little bigger than the eyehole to allow room for each piece of acetate to be taped down.
-
4
Cut the circles out of the acetate and tape them over the eyeholes. The blue acetate should cover the right eye, and the left eye should be covered by red acetate when worn.
-
5
Cut the rubber band so that you have one long piece and staple it to each side of the glasses, making a band that will wrap around your head to hold the glasses in place.
