The client then invites her female friends and family to try out and potentially purchase makeup and skin care products from the consultant, and receives a free gift in return. Inviting friends and family to a Mary Kay party you are hosting in your home is very easy to do.

Instructions

1. Make a list of everyone you plan to invite to the party and collect their home addresses and telephone numbers.

2. Send out a paper invitation to each guest if the party is to be held four or more weeks from the date of the invite. Include on the invitation all relevant details, such as the reason for the party, the date, the location and a number they can call to RSVP. If food will be served at the party, include whether you will be serving a full meal or light snacks. This will allow guests to plan their meal in advance in relation to your party.

3. Call guests to invite them if the party is less than two weeks from the date of the invite. Tell each guest the reason for the party and all other relevant information.

4. Keep track of each guest as they respond to the invitations to create a headcount for your Mary Kay representative.

5. Confirm all responses with guests three days before the party. Call any guest who has not responded to find out if she will or will not be in attendance.
