DIY PSP Display on TV

DIY PSP Display on TV thumbnail
The PSP can be played on the TV for a more immersive experience.

PlayStation Portables can be used to play games, music, videos and even browse the Web. The downside to the PSP is the small screen that can be hard to see. Displaying your PSP on your TV can fix the problem. It's easy to do, but you'll have to buy a component or composite AV cable.

Instructions

    • 1

Plug the AV cord into the bottom left side of the PSP. Locate the AV port on your TV and plug in the three or five colors depending on your cord and the number of ports in the back. The ports on the TV are usually located on the front or the back.

    • 2

Turn your TV on once you have connected your PSP and change it to the correct channel for the AV ports. The channels are usually named either "Game" or "Input."

    • 3

Turn on your PSP and when it is completely booted up find the button on the front left corner of the device (it has a rectangle with two curved lines). Press this button in until the PSP screen goes dark and the PSP is displayed on the TV.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have your A/C adapter plugged in for this operation because it drains your battery faster.
