How to Create Vampire Fangs in Photoshop Cs4
If you want to give yourself killer vampire fangs, you could have your teeth surgically altered, or you could take the less dramatic route and just create lifelike fangs in Photoshop CS4. Using this popular software, you can apply a series of basic adjustments to any smile and turn regular teeth into spooky vampire fangs. Best of all, you do not need expert Photoshop proficiency to make the effect look convincing.

1
Select the right photo. In order to create a great vampire photo, you will need an image that clearly displays the subject's upper teeth, particularly the canines or lateral incisors that appear near the side of the mouth. Find the photo you want to use and open it in Photoshop.
-
2
Select the Polygonal Lasso tool on your "Tools" palette and use your mouse to make a selection along the outline of the first tooth you want to alter. If your "Tools" palette does not appear on your screen, click "Window" on your menu bar and select "Tools" from the menu bar.
-
-
3
Create a duplicate of the tooth in a new layer. With the area around your tooth selected, click "Edit" on your menu bar and select "Copy" from the drop down menu. Then click "Edit" again and select "Paste" from the drop down menu. This will create a duplicate tooth, directly on top of the original, in a new Photoshop layer.
-
4
Restore your original selection on the new layer. When you paste your tooth copy, the selection will disappear. To retrieve it, click "Select" on the menu bar and choose "Load Selection" from the drop down menu. Click "OK" on the pop-up menu.
-
5
Change your selection into a "Distort" marquee. Click "Edit" on the menu bar, scroll down to "Transform" on the drop-down menu and select the "Distort" option. Now you can stretch your selection with your mouse.
-
6
Stretch the length of your tooth downward. Click the bottom portion of your selection and drag it straight down. This will stretch the tooth vertically, making it appear long. Keep stretching the selection until it reaches approximately twice the length of the original tooth.
-
7
Deselect your tooth. Click any tool on the tool bar and you will see pop-up message asking if you to confirm your transformation. Click the "Apply" button and your selection will disappear.
-
8
Select your Eraser tool on the "Tools" palette.
-
9
Use your Eraser tool to shave the lower corners of your prolonged tooth, creating a fine point. If you make a mistake, click "Edit" on the menu bar and select "Undo" from the drop down menu. Keep trying until your fang looks perfect.
-
10
Repeat all of the above steps for your second fang on the exact opposite side of the mouth.
