How to Create Custom Gift Certificates
Custom gift certificates are a creative and unique gift to give someone special in your life. The beauty of a homemade gift certificate is that you can specify things and kind deeds--such as chores--that the certificate can be exchanged for according to the gift recipient's interests. Be creative and choose fun outings and rewards for your custom gift cards.

1
Make a list of the chores, events and kind deeds you are willing to do for the gift recipient. You will list these things on the gift certificates. Some examples are a nice dinner, housekeeping such as cleaning the bathroom or maybe a back massage.

2
Print out a free gift certificate template from a website with custom gift certificates. You will want to use card stock instead of computer paper because the heavier-weight paper is ideal for gift certificate booklets. Use a marker to fill out the specific chore or activity that will be redeemable with the gift certificate.

3
Cut out the gift certificate. Decorate it with stickers, glitter glue or faux jewels. Customize your design based on the recipient's personal style. Each gift certificate can be different. Glue faux jewels on the corners of the gift certificate or line the borders with glitter glue. Allow the decorations to dry.
-
4
Bind the gift certificates into a booklet. You can do this by stacking them together, and placing a staple in the top left-hand corner of the booklet. You also can take the gift certificates to an office supply store or copy center to have them professionally bound.
