How to Drop a Pin in Google Maps
Google Maps is a feature that is a part of Google's Internet resources. Google Maps allows users to create their own maps in order to plan out travel routes or determine where a specific location is in an area. When you are creating your own map you can drop pins, also known as placemarks, to create landmarks or points of interest on your map. You can drop as many pins to your map as you want and save the changes to your Google account.

Go to the Google website and click on the “Maps” option from the toolbar menu at the top of the page. Click on the “My Maps” option and then click on the “Get started” button.

Enter a title and description for your map into the appropriate fields. Click on the “Public” or “Unlisted” option to determine if your map will show up in search engines.

Use the tools at the top of the map to locate a specific area on the map. Click on the “Add a placemark” button and your cursor will change to an “X” with the pin icon.

Locate the place on your map where you want to drop the pin and then click on the area. Enter a title and description for your placemark, and then click on the “OK” button.

Click on the “Done” button once you’re finished dropping all the pins that you want. Your map will then be created.
