When you install a McAfee security product onto your computer, a program called "McAfee SiteAdvisor" gets installed into the main toolbar of your web browser. SiteAdvisor scans sites you are either visiting or are about to visit; giving you the confidence that a particular page is secure. If you'd like to permanently remove McAfee SiteAdvisor from appearing in your toolbar, you just have to enter your web browser and turn it off.
Open your web browser.
Right-click anywhere on the McAfee SiteAdvisor toolbar that isn't occupied by an icon. This will bring up your web browser's "Toolbar" menu.
Click "McAfee SiteAdvisor." This will disable the McAfee SiteAdvisor, permanently removing it from your web browser's toolbar until the time comes when you decide to turn it back on.
