1
Braid your hair into corn rows. If your hair is about shoulder length, you can go straight back with the corn rows. If your hair is longer, braid your corn rows into circles.
-
2
Place the lace front weave onto your head and draw a line with an eyeliner pencil where the lace front weave hair line falls. Adjust the weave until you find a placement that you like that is at least a 1/2 inch from your hairline.
-
-
3
Cut the lace that is hanging from the weave along the line that you have drawn across your forehead after removing the weave.
-
4
Using a cotton ball, wipe your forehead with rubbing alcohol from the drawn line to your hairline. Let the alcohol dry and apply the scalp protector around your hairline where the lace from the weave will lay.
-
5
Apply a small amount of wig adhesive where the scalp protector has been placed. Place your lace front weave on, and working from front to back, lay the lace onto the adhesive.
-
6
Press down firmly with the back of your comb at the weave's hairline. This will help the lace to blend in with your skin.
-
7
Place a head wrap around the hairline of the weave to secure it and hold it in place while the glue dries. Wait at least one hour before removing.
