LG dishwashers have two-digit display electronic readouts on the front of the unit. Most of the time the digital display will show the estimated cycle and option times. When the cycle and options are chosen using the buttons adjacent to the display, the display will show the total estimated time to complete those selections. The display will be blank when the dishwasher powers up. Any error messages will also be displayed on the two-digit display electronic readouts. Does this Spark an idea?

      Unplug the washing machine if you see an LE error on the two-digit display electronic readout. This error indicates a miscommunication between the control panel and wash motor.

      Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button on the front panel for five seconds.

      Plug the LG dishwasher back in.

    • 4

      Run a cycle. The LE code will clear.

Tips & Warnings

  • Other error codes include OE, a drainage problem; FE, excessive water supplied; E1, water leakage; HE, heater circuit problems; TE, thermistor failure or high inlet water temperature; and PF, a power failure.
