How to Sync an Outlook Calendar & Contacts With an iPhone

The iPhone, made by Apple, allows you to sync your Microsoft Outlook information such as your calendar and contacts to the device. This is extremely handy when you are on the road and want to keep track of appointments and events, as well as have your contact list in the palm of your hands. It takes about two minutes to sync your iPhone with your Outlook calendar and contacts.

  • Select the "Settings" icon on your iPhone.

  • Choose "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" on the next screen. Tap "Add Account" and then select "Microsoft Exchange."

  • Type your email address, domain, username, password and a short description for this Exchange account in the appropriate fields. Click the "Next" button.

  • Move the sliders to the "On" position in the "Contacts" and "Calendar" items on the next page. It is up to you if you want your Exchange mail to also be synced. If you do, move the slider for Mail to the "On" position.

  • Hit the "Save" button.
