Curved Shower Rod Instructions

Installing a curved shower rod adds more space to a cramped shower stall or bathtub by giving you more room to move your arms. While this hardware looks impressive once in place and it may even seem daunting to install, the process is as simple as any standard shower rod. Hold the shower rod up between the walls it is to be installed in.

Use a pencil to mark the holes in the brackets at each end of the shower rod.

Move the curtain rod away from the walls so the pencil marks are exposed.

Drill into each hole with a power drill.

Insert anchors or wall plugs into the drill holes. Anchors are small plastic piece that fit into drill holes and provide extra support once the screw is inserted.

Attach the shower rod to walls by screwing it into the anchored holes. Most curtain rods will comes with the correct size screws; insert these screws with a screwdriver.
