How to Hold a Duvet in a Duvet Cover
A duvet is a type of comforter. While many comforters are already made with a designed fabric cover, duvets are usually plain white and give you the option of using different covers to change the look of your bed linens. Think of it as a big, flat pillow and you are putting an extra large case on it. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Shake out the duvet to make it flat. You do not want it bunching up in the cover and making too full or too empty spaces.
-
2
Start at the bottom and work the cover up toward the top. Stuff the bottom ends in each corner of the cover and then pull the cover up and over the duvet. Hold the cover's top and shake it to make sure the duvet is evenly spaced throughout the cover.

Close the duvet cover. Traditionally buttons are used to close up the large opening at the top of the cover. Some have zippers (or if you make your own duvet cover, you can add a zipper). Some use a fold-over technique like an envelope.

Tips & Warnings
If your duvet keeps slipping out of its cover, try clips that clip on each corner. These will hold the duvet in place.
