How to Recover Files from Shift+Delete

When using any of the Windows operating systems, you can use the "Shift+Delete" key combination in order to delete multiple files. In the event that you have deleted a large number of files and accidentally deleted some files that you need, there is no need to worry. The "Shift+Delete" key combination does not permanently delete files, but rather sends them to the recycle bin. Because of this, the files you need can be easily recovered.

Instructions

    • 1

Double-click the "Recycle Bin" icon on your computer's desktop to open the Recycle Bin window.

    • 2

Find the files you accidentally deleted in the Recycle Bin and drag them back to the Desktop to recover them.

    • 3

Right-click the recycle bin after you have recovered the files and select the "Empty Recycle Bin" option on the drop-down menu to permanently delete the other files.
