How to Find the CyberLink PowerDVD XP Product Key

CyberLink PowerDVD is a DVD-burning program capable of placing video onto a DVD and customizing the selection menu and all other aspects of the video disc. When installing the product, a product key code is required. The code is specific to the program and cannot be found online. Without the code, it is impossible to install the CyberLink PowerDVD program onto a computer.

Things You'll Need

  • CyverLink PowerDVD installation case
  • User manual
  • Insert the installation CyberLink PowerDVD for Windows XP. When the installation wizard appears on the screen, follow the brief prompts until you reach the product key request.

  • Look on the back of the CyberLink PowerDVD installation CD case. The product key code is printed there.

  • Inspect the user manual if you cannot find the product key code. Oftentimes the information is printed a second time on the cover of a user manual.

  • Open the Internet browser and bring up the CyberLink website. Choose "Support," followed by "Custom Support." Select "Contact Us," then choose "Inquiry Form." Enter your UPC code (located under the barcode) into the inquiry form and type out the program name. Request your product code and submit the inquiry. You'll receive a response email in a few days that contains your product key code.
