1
Clean the automobile leather with a leather cleaner. Refer to the manufacturer's label for specific cleaning instructions as this will vary among products. This will not likely remove the ink stain but it may lighten.
-
2
Moisten a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Blot the ink-stained leather with the alcohol. Work from the outside of the ink stain toward the center to avoid spreading the ink further.

3
Continue blotting, switching to a clean cotton ball and adding more alcohol as necessary. Blot until no more ink transfers from the leather to the cotton ball.
-
4
Allow the leather to air dry completely. Inspect the area for any traces of the ink stain.

5
Apply acetone nail polish remover if the ink stain persists. Moisten a cotton ball with a small amount of acetone nail polish remover. Work the stain from the leather in the same manner you did with the alcohol. Continue this process until the ink stain is gone.

6
Clean the leather again with a leather cleaner to remove any traces of the alcohol or nail polish remover. Follow up by applying a leather conditioner to the auto leather. The leather conditioner will restore moisture lost during the cleaning process. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for applying leather cleaner.

Tips & Warnings
Rub petroleum jelly over the affected area of the leather for a homemade leather conditioner. Let it sit on the leather for a few minutes before removing with a dry rag.
Always test the product you are using on a small, inconspicuous area of the leather prior to applying it to a more noticeable area.
If you notice any wearing of the leather during stain removal, quit using the product promptly.
