      Remove the insole from the squeaking shoe. If you are unable to easily move the insole with your hand, it is probably not the source of the squeaking.

      Apply a small amount of lotion to the bottom of the insole. This lubricates the insole and keeps it from rubbing against the sole of the shoe, thus eliminating the squeak.

      Replace the insole in your shoe.
