  1. Clear viewing history in Internet Explorer

      Click "Tools" in the menu bar near the top of the screen.

      Select "Delete Browsing History."

      Click "Delete history" in Internet Explorer 7. Check the "History" box and click "Delete" in Internet Explorer 8.

    Clear viewing history in Firefox

      Click "Tools" in the menu bar near the top of the screen.

      Select "Clear Recent History."

      Select "Everything" from the drop-down menu.

      Check the boxes labeled "Browsing & Download History" and "Form & Search History."

      Click "Clear Now."

    Clear viewing history in Opera

      Click "Tools" in the menu bar near the top of the screen.

      Select "Delete Private Data."

      Click "Detailed Options."

      Check the box next to the following three options: "Clear history of visited pages," "Clear history of file transfers" and "Clear bookmark visited time."

      Click the "Tools" icon in the menu bar near the top-right corner of the screen and select "Options."

      Select the "Under the Hood" tab and click "Clear browsing data."
