How to Reinstall IE 7

Internet Explorer 7 is a popular browser made by Microsoft. The browser allows you to surf the web and save your favorites within its customizable interface. At times though, it may become corrupted or unresponsive. If that is the case, it may be time to reinstall the browser. The process takes about ten minutes to complete.

Instructions

1. Open a web browser and go to the Windows Internet Explorer 7 download page (see Resources).

2. Hit the "Download" button, then select "Open" or "Run this program from its current location." Wait until the software is downloaded to your system.

3. Double-click the Internet Explorer install icon on your desktop if the installation process does not begin automatically.

4. Follow the installation prompts that call for you to decide where on your hard drive to install the software. Hit the "Finish" button and restart your computer. Internet Explorer 7 is reinstalled and ready for use.
