Redeem iTunes gift cards on iPod Touch

The iPod Touch comes with the iTunes Store application already installed on the device. This application gives you the ability to download content from iTunes directly onto your iPod Touch without having to use a computer. Money that is saved on an iTunes gift card can be used toward iTunes Store purchases that you make using the iPod Touch. These gift cards can be redeemed using the iTunes Store application found on your iPod Touch.

Instructions

1. Turn on your iPod Touch.

2. Press the "iTunes" button on the iPod Touch. The iTunes Store application will open.

3. Press the "New Releases" button at the top of the iPod Touch.

4. Scroll down the page until you see the "Redeem" button at the bottom of the iTunes screen. Then, press the "Redeem" button.

5. Press inside the "Code" box on the screen.

6. Enter in the iTunes gift card code located on the back of the gift card.

7. Press "Redeem" at the top right part of the iPod Touch screen. The iTunes gift card will be redeemed and the amount on the card will be added to your iTunes account.

Tips & Warnings

• The iPod Touch must be accessing an Internet connection in order for you to open the iTunes Store application on the device.
