Batting Tee Assembly Instructions
Assembling a batting tee is necessary when deciding to purchase a tee. Most tees today require assembly and come with an easy to follow diagram regarding putting it together. Batting tees come with several loose parts that need assembly. According to Muhltech Baseball and Softball a batting tee is the most important tool for baseball and softball. They claim that by using a batting tee the hitter has to worry only about duplicating the same swing consistently.

Set the base of the batting tee on the ground. The base usually resembles home plate. The base is what steadies the batting tee so that it does not fall over. The base also has many other pieces of the tee connected to it.

Place the telescoping pole into the holder that is located in the middle of the base. The fatter part of the telescoping pole is the bottom part. This bottom part should fit perfectly into the holder. Align the holes in the bottom part of the pole with the holes in the holder. Put the included screw through the holder and pole and out the other side. Attach a nut to the end of the screw that was pushed through.

Adjust the batting tee to the correct height. Loosen the nut that is located midway up the telescoping pole, allowing the adjustment of the height up or down by either pulling up or pushing down the top of the telescoping pole. When the height of the tee has been adjusted to the desired height, tighten the nut that is located halfway up the telescoping pole back up.
