How to Estimate Vinyl Siding Per Square

1
Measure the perimeter of the house with a tape measure.

2
Measure the height of the walls up to the eaves.

Multiply the perimeter by the height of the walls to get the exterior square footage for the walls.
-
4
Measure the width of the gable where it meets the top of the wall.
-
5
Measure the height of the gable, from the top of the wall to the peak.
-
6
