How to Work an FM Transmitter for an iPod Nano
One of the best things about the iPod Nano is its ability to store a lot of music in a small package. One of the drawbacks of the iPod Nano is that it lacks an external speaker, which makes it a little challenging to share your music with others or listen to your music on something louder than your headphones. However, by using an FM transmitter for your iPod Nano, you can listen to the music on your iPod Nano on any FM radio, whether it’s in a home or in a car.

Tips & Warnings
Some FM transmitters--those that are specifically for the iPod Nano--will have a dock connector jack, rather than a 3.5mm audio jack. These transmitters work the same way, but rather than plugging one into your iPod Nano's headphone jack, plug it into the dock connector on the iPod Nano.
Because a FM transmitter uses FM frequencies, the sound will be similar to that of a FM radio station. You may also experience interference from radio stations that have a frequency close to the one you’re using or if other people close by are using the same frequency for their FM transmitter.
