      Place your right hand on your right hip, with your elbow bent so that your arm forms a 90-degree angle.

      Place the end of the tape measure at the base of your neck in the center, directly above your shoulder blades.

      Enlist the help of an assistant to extend the tape measure from your neck along your shoulder and arm to the tip of your elbow. Note the measurement in inches. Measure from the tip of your elbow to your wrist. Note this measurement.

      Add the measurements together. Add the neck to elbow-tip measurement with the measurement from elbow tip to wrist. The combined total is your sleeve arm length.
