How to Apply Makeup on an Adult for a Cat Face for Halloween
If you have a slinky cat costume lined up for your next Halloween bash, pair cat-inspired makeup to go along with it. Halloween makeup does not necessarily have to be purchased in the Halloween section. Try using standard makeup that you already own to create your feline fantasy look. Paired with some sexy long eyelashes and improvised touches such as bristles from a standard broom, your kitty makeover costume will be complete.

1
Apply a liquid foundation that is one shade lighter than your skin tone all over your face. Blend it into your skin with your fingers. Take the concealer brush and dip it into the foundation. Brush the foundation over your bottom lip.
-
2
Apply a small amount of translucent powder to a large makeup brush and sweep it over your face to set the foundation. Avoid powdering your lip.
-
-
3
Fill in the underside of your nose with black eyeliner. Bring the eyeliner around the edge of the bottom of both nostrils. This will give your nose a pantherlike look.
-
4
Draw a line from the middle of your septum to the middle of the peak of your lips. Line the outer edge of your top lip with black liner and fill it in.
-
5
Use the liner to wing an upward curved line from each corner of your mouth. Make sure the lines are even with the curve of your top lip. Only curve out about 1 inch or so.
-
6
Draw three small dots in a triangular pattern just on the inside of your smile line above your upper lip.
-
7
Glide the black liner over your eyebrows to darken them. Extend the thin ends of your eyebrows slightly to create an exaggerated arch.
-
8
Line your upper eyelids at the lash line thickly. Wing the ends out, extending upward to create a “cat’s eye” effect. Line the inner corner of your eye and extend the liner down past your tear ducts slightly. Continue the dark line around the bottom lid of your eye.
-
9
Apply black eyeshadow over the lid of only your left eye, bringing the shadow up over the eyelid crease. Then streak the eyeshadow under your bottom lashes up to the lower lid.
-
10
Hold the false eyelashes to your top lid and measure where they need to be cut. Cut from the inner part of the eyelashes, especially if you have lashes that wing out dramatically at the ends. Squeeze a very thin line of eyelash glue along the base of the eyelashes. Apply the base against the top of your upper lash line so that the glue adheres to your skin. Hold in place for about 30 seconds to a minute, then release. Repeat for the other eye.
-
11
Dip the end of a broom bristle into the eyelash glue. Stick the bristle to just outside of one of the black dots above your lip, then hold it in place for about 1 minute. Repeat with the rest of the broom bristles to create whiskers.
