How to Play a Rock Band Guitar on Guitar Zero

Guitar Zero is a computer game that is quite similar to the games in the Guitar Hero series. Because only one Guitar Hero, Legends of Rock, was designed to be connect to the computer and because it was an unpopular connection due to it's demanding system requirements, many gamers choose to play Guitar Zero instead. As such, they want to know if their existing guitar peripheral will work for Guitar Zero. Determining whether or not your Rock Band controller is compatible is a short process that will having you gaming within minutes.

Things You'll Need

• Wired Rock Band controller for Xbox 360
• Guitar Zero

Instructions

1. Check to see whether or not your XBox 360 Rock Band controller has a wire. If does not, you will not be able to use it on the PC due to incompatibility issues.

2. Plug the end of your Xbox 360 Rock Band controller wire into a USB port. Because this is simply an Xbox 360 controller, it will work just as easily as one. Your computer should automatically install drivers to use the controller. If not, proceed to Step 3.

3. Download the controller software located at Microsoft's main website. Choose "Controller," "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows," and your current version of Windows.

4. Install the software. When this completes, you will be able to use your Rock Band controller with Guitar Zero.
