      Check to see whether or not your XBox 360 Rock Band controller has a wire. If does not, you will not be able to use it on the PC due to incompatibility issues.

      Plug the end of your Xbox 360 Rock Band controller wire into a USB port. Because this is simply an Xbox 360 controller, it will work just as easily as one. Your computer should automatically install drivers to use the controller. If not, proceed to Step 3.

      Download the controller software located at Microsoft's main website. Choose "Controller," "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows," and your current version of Windows.

      Install the software. When this completes, you will be able to use your Rock Band controller with Guitar Zero.
