How to Find Men's Ring Sizes

Finding the right size for a man's ring is essential for a good fit. The ring should be loose enough to easily slip on, but not so loose that it can accidentally fall off. Whether you're ordering online or from a local jeweler, it's important that you have the correct size. Occasionally, ring sizes vary from store to store or from country to country. Fortunately, there are a number of ways you can determine your ring size.

• Ring
• String or paper
• Ruler
• Pen
• Sizing chart

Instructions

1. Compare your ring using a ring size chart. If you already have a ring that fits well, you'll easily be able to determine your size.

2. Use a string or paper for sizing. Wrap a string or a small strip of paper around your finger and mark where it overlaps. Use a ruler to determine the measurement in millimeters, then convert it to a ring size using the size chart.

3. Use a paper sizer. Some jewelry companies have a paper sizer that you can print out. You cut out the sizer and cut a small slit where it's marked. Place this on your finger as you would a ring and pull the end through the slit until it fits snugly. The marking on the sizer will tell you your size.

4. Order sample sizers. Online jewelry companies may be able to send you plastic rings. Each plastic ring will have a mark that indicates its size and you simply try on the rings until you find one that fits.

5. Visit your local jeweler. The most accurate way to get your ring size is at your local jeweler. He will have sample rings for you to try on and will be able to get the right fit.
