How to Reinstall Safari
Safari is a browser for Mac computer users. The browser sometimes needs to be updated. If you have trouble with it in terms of a lot of crashes or unresponsiveness, you may need to reinstall the software, a process that takes about 10 minutes to computer.

Close all applications and programs on your Mac computer.

Go to Apple's Safari page (see Resources). Click the download button on the left side of the page. Choose your version along the left side of the new page. Hit the radio button that corresponds to it. Hit the blue "Download Now" button.

Hit the "Save" button in the window that appears.

Find the .DMG file that lands on your desktop.

Double-click this file. Watch for another icon to appear on your desktop it will have "Safari" in its name. Double-click that icon if a window does not appear.

Click the box icon and follow the installation instructions that appear. You will be asked to agree to a license agreement and designate what driver you want the software to reside.

Click "Install" and wait for the software to install onto your system. You computer will automatically restart.
