How to Update Xbox 360 Games Manually
One great feature of the Microsoft Xbox 360 is the ability to update video games that have already been released. These updates allow video game developers to fix problems that they find after a game has released and to give players new game content. These benefits make the slight amount of time required to manually update Xbox 360 games entirely worthwhile.

Ensure that your system is connected to a broadband Internet connection, then turn on your Xbox 360.

Log in to Xbox Live. If you have not yet registered for Xbox Live, you will need to do so now. You do not, however, need to register for Xbox Live Gold; you can sign up for the free version, Xbox Live Silver.

Insert the game disc for the game that you manually want to update.

Start the game that you want to update. As the game loads, a menu will pop up informing you that there is a "Title Update" available for this particular game. At this point, you must manually select the "Update" option; otherwise your system will not download and install the update. Your system will now update the game and reboot it. Your game has been manually updated.

Tips & Warnings
You need to manually update each individual game one at a time. There is no way to update all the games in your collection at a single time.
You can only update a game if there is a "Title Update" available for that particular game.
