How to Replace O2 Sensors on a Dodge Stealth
The O2 sensors on your Dodge Stealth monitor the vehicle's emissions and send information about what the exhaust contains to the vehicle's computer, called an ECU. The ECU, or electronic control unit, then adjusts the air-to-fuel ratio so that the ratio is 14.7 parts air to one part gasoline. If this ratio is disturbed, lower fuel economy and power output will happen. When your O2 sensor fails, this ratio cannot be maintained and your Dodge Stealth will experience a marked decrease in engine performance.
