How to Update Internet Explorer 5 to Internet Explorer 6

Internet Explorer 5 is an older version of the Internet Explorer browser, installed on older Windows operating systems. If you want to update this version of Internet Explorer to version 6, you can do so by downloading Internet Explorer 6 from Microsoft and installing it on your computer. The only thing required to complete this operation is an active Internet connection.

Instructions

1. Open your internet browser on your computer and navigate to the download page for Internet Explorer 6 (see "Resources" section for link).

2. Click on the "Download" button and then save the "ie6setup.exe" file to your computer.

3. Double-click on the "ie6setup.exe" file to install Internet Explorer 6 to your computer.

4. Restart your computer once Internet Explorer 6 has finished installing on your computer. Your computer has now updated you from Internet Explorer 5 to Internet Explorer 6.
